P. D. Hinduja Hospital, Khar, had organized a First Aid and BLS Training for the employees of BMC G North Ward at Dadar (West) on 27th December, 2021.
Dr. Sonal Shah, Casualty Medical Officer and a BLS certified doctor at P.D. Hinduja Hospital & Medical Research Centre, Khar, gave the first aid demonstration so that an individual could learn to be more conscious of safety in the workplace, leading to a reduced number of accidents and injuries. Qualified team nursing officers were on site along with the set of mannequins to coach and train people on BLS techniques. Beginning with a brief talk on how chest pain occurs, they gave a step by step demonstration of administering CPR (Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation). The BMC team was then encouraged to try their hand on the same, so that they could be ready in case of any emergency arising later.
