Presently, GOCL is a multi-division, multi-location company with successful businesses in real estate, land development, infrastructure contracts, commercial explosives (through its subsidiary IDL Explosives Ltd.), detonators, mining chemicals and accessories.

The Company, along with its wholly owned subsidiary IDL Explosives Ltd., has received long term Stable rating of [ICRA] BBB and short term rating of [ICRA] A3+. All the Divisions and IDL Explosives Ltd. are ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 certified, and integrate management systems that cover quality, occupational health, safety and environmental standards.

GOCL's Realty Division is currently developing Ecopolis, the Company's Bangalore property of 40 acres in association with Hinduja Realty Ventures Limited (HRVL).

Ecopolis is an eco-friendly, LEED Gold rated IT/ ITES SEZ development with Commercial Offices, Hotel and Hospitality Solutions and Service Apartments, with a built-up area of approximately 8 Million sq. ft. The first Office Block and Multi Level Car Park totalling 1.5 Million sq. ft. is already ready for occupation. The construction of the second Office Block of 1 Million sq. ft. is currently underway.
