Few weeks ago, a young woman came in to donate blood for the rst time. She looked uneasy, asking the team questions like, “Will I faint?” or “What if I feel dizzy after?” These concerns are more common than one might expect. After the donation, she stood up smiling, surprised that it had been so quick and easy. Moments like these remind us how fear and misinformation often stop people from stepping forward, not a lack of goodwill.
