Gautam Khanna Joins NATHEALTH Foundation Board Khanna’s induction is expected to enhance the foundation's efforts to build a resilient, innovation‑led healthcare ecosystem nationwide

The NATHEALTH Foundation has appointed Gautam Khanna, CEO of P.D. Hinduja Hospital & Medical Research Centre, to its board.

Khanna’s three‑decade career spans hospital administration, medical technology and health‑systems strategy. An alumnus of IIT Kanpur and IIM Calcutta, he earlier led 3M’s healthcare businesses in South Asia and has chaired FICCI’s Health Services Committee and Medical Device Forum. He currently serves on the Quality Council of India’s APEX Steering Committee for hospital accreditation and presides over Mumbai’s Association of Hospitals.

“It is an honour to join the NATHEALTH Foundation Board and help reimagine health systems that truly serve every Indian,” Khanna said, pledging to drive innovation and capacity building across the sector.

NATHEALTH President Ameera Shah welcomed the appointment, citing Khanna’s “deep domain knowledge and strategic vision,” while Foundation Chairman Dr Ashutosh Raghuvanshi said his focus on patient outcomes and systems thinking would accelerate progress on sector‑wide reforms.

Formed to catalyse public‑private collaboration, the NATHEALTH Foundation supports programmes in digital health, capacity building, and universal access. Khanna’s induction is expected to enhance its efforts to build a resilient, innovation‑led healthcare ecosystem nationwide.
