Shiv Kumar Bhasin, Chief Transformation Officer, IndusInd Bank

Shiv Kumar Bhasin has moved on from the National Stock Exchange of India (NSE), where he served as EVP and Group Chief Technology and Operations Officer for more than four years, to join IndusInd Bank. He is donning a new hat this time, as he has taken on the role of Chief Transformation Officer at the bank..

While further details about his role and responsibilities in this new position are still awaited, he is likely to work directly with the MD/CEO's office, with a mandate for technology and business solutions transformation for the bank.

Having nearly 28 years of extensive global experience in the banking and financial services industry, Bhasin is recognized by his peers in the IT and BFSI sector as a transformative leader.

Besides an illustrious stint at India’s leading stock exchange and the world's largest derivatives exchange by number of contracts traded, he led IT strategy and technology initiatives in Fortune 500 companies such as State Bank of India, Barclays, and Fidelity Investments as well.

As the EVP and CTO/COO at NSE, he was instrumental in making the exchange a strong, resilient, and scalable platform by leveraging agile, cutting-edge and cognitive technologies to enhance the performance, security, and efficiency of the exchange.
