P. D. Hinduja Hospital, Khar, organized a CPD for Family Physicians on 6th August, 2022 on Ophthalmology & Plastic Surgery Specialty.

Dr. Meghali Bhattacharjee (Consultant, Cataract and Refractive Surgery) at P.D. Hinduja Hospital & Medical Research Centre, Khar, spoke on the topic, "The Ageing 'Cataract' and the Current Lenses" followed by Dr.Anil Tibrewala (Consultant, Plastic and Cosmetic Surgery) who spoke on the topic," The Ageing Face- simplified and what I do". The last speaker was Dr.Savari Desai (Consultant - Oculoplasty, Orbit, Ocular Oncology & Facial Aesthetic Surgery). She spoke on the topic "The Ageing Eye - the droops, the bulges- Its management". The objective of this CPD was to influence the audience of Family Physicians to take the timely decision of shifting the patient to a hospital set up from the GP clinic, when dealing with cataract as well as cosmetic or trauma related ophthalmic conditions.

Interaction and doubts resolution was facilitated after each of the panelists spoke.
