Established in the early 1950's under the leadership of the late Shri P. D. Hinduja, the Hospital's vision is to deliver 'Quality Healthcare for All' with the introduction of international healthcare to India and pioneering in application of technology.

The 400 bed ultra-modern tertiary care hospital has been built with strategic advisory contributions from Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston, USA.

The Hospital pioneered the concept of full time hospital based consultants and its healthcare services range from investigation

and diagnostics to therapy, surgery and post-operative care with 53 critical care beds in more than 45 specialties, except obstetrics. In-patient services are complemented with 19 day care units, 170 consultants and more than 800 nurses and other staff, out-patient facilities and an exclusive centre for health screening.

The Hospital lays emphasis on development of Clinical Practice, Academics and Research and has collaborations with several global institutions such as Hopitaux University Geneva (HUG), Stanford University, Henry Ford Health Systems and the American Association of Physicians of Indian origin.
