With innovative business models to adopt in both, the rooftop and utility segment, the Group began its initiation into the solar sector in 2016, now operating a portfolio of over 200 MW. With immense growth opportunities in Private PPA, Commercial and Industrial rooftop markets, Hinduja Group aims to lead in tapping these projects through HREPL.

HREPL's solar portfolio, as of March 2021, comprises of Ground Mounted Solar Plants and Rooftop Solar Plants all over India, with 3 plants in Rajasthan, 2 plants in Maharashtra, 2 plants in Tamil Nadu, and 1 plant in Gujarat.

HREPL's projects are currently consistently generating PLF upwards of 22% on fixed-tilt and were instrumental in setting up India's first 5 MW single axis tracking project.

HREPL is constantly looking at opportunities in charging infrastructure, alternative battery power storage with battery management, as a replacement to Genset based power, and many other opportunities for the C&I segment.
