Hinduja Group has appointed Amanppreet Singh Bhatia as Group President, Human Resources, effective May 9. As group president, Bhatia has succeeded Sudhanshu Tripathi.
Bhatia comes with over 32 years of in-depth experience in the gamut of HR, handling leadership and strategic roles in multinational organisations and reputed Indian corporations across diverse industries spanning manufacturing, engineering and automotive, FMCG, IT, and services.
Before moving to the new role within the group, Bhatia was President and Head of HR at Ashok Leyland. Prior to joining Hinduja Group, Bhatia was Group CHRO at Escorts. He has also worked at VE Commercial Vehicles, Intertek Group PLC, Symantec, and Gillette, among others.
Bhatia joined the Hinduja Group in 2019 and moved to Ashok Leyland as President and Head of HR in May 2021.
He holds an MBA in HR from the University Business School (UBS), Panjab University.
